Great news, I was hired direct in July 2015. I have a real job now that I like.
All the stuff in my book about being a temp and looking for my ideal job, that can stay there, but the fact is that sometimes, dreams can come true. Book is shaping up nicely, adding finishing touches here and there.

Working a new job at a teaching university. Temp but good pay and I have my own office. This is the pinnacle of temp work. Nice people too!
  Still editing the book. No chance of getting an illustrator because they want too much money. Luckily with all the edits, the book is still funny. Paperback should be done soon, I'm hoping.
